Do any of you do your own sewing? I have to admit to not having time lately to do anything but emergency mending. I try to take my mending on road trips to catch up on it. It has been a couple of years since I made matching outfits for my girls and I so I was online at one of my favorite stores Fabric.com. Guess what I found? I actually found Wow Wow Wubbzy fabric! If your children are a Wow Wow Wubbzy fan, sewing items like a pillow, a blanket or even pjs is a fun way to surprise your kids with a brand name item especially made by you.
Jo-Ann Fabrics is another favorite of ours, especially when they have some great coupons in their ads. You do have to sign up to receive their “members” ads which usually include additional discounts. But you don’t want to shop online at Jo-Ann’s during their peak season, like the day after Thanksgiving because their website could not handle the amount of traffic they were receiving this past Thanksgiving (2009). Plus they usually run out of promotional items fast.
I’m going to have to get some of that for my daughter! She looooves Wubbzy!
