I think that Traditional Medicinals Pregnancy Tea is a must-have for every pregnant woman. Here’s why:
I’m almost to the end of my first trimester and I’ve already gone through 2 boxes of this tea. I’ve had horrible morning sickness with this pregnancy (none with my first) and I’ve found this tea, first thing in the morning, has been EXTREMELY helpful.
I was throwing up constantly for the first couple weeks of my pregnancy, but after 2 days of drinking this tea, I stopped throwing up. I’ve still been extremely queasy, which this tea eases a lot, but I haven’t actually thrown up since I started on a routine with this tea.
I think it’s a must-have for every pregnant woman. First thing in the morning, make yourself a cup of this tea. Sit down, drink it slowly with some toast, a muffin, or a few crackers. It really starts off your day on the right foot and get’s your morning sickness in check!

I’ll definitely try this. I love Traditional Medicinals teas and I’m about in the middle of the first trimester myself. I could definitely use the help. You’re so lucky you weren’t sick during your first pregnancy!

Sarah, you know I have some of this in my cupboard and completely forgot about it until my daughter asked me tonight if I wanted regular or pregnancy tea! Duh on me! Here I am at the end of my first trimester too. Thanks for the reminder, that’s a double whammy tonight, I think I’ll take the hint and have some pregnancy tea tonight.

I tried this and didn’t have much luck. I’ve used other TM teas – especially for colds – and its usually my first go-to. What did work was plain ginger tea – just cut-up ginger root boiled for 5 minutes! One of my maternity clients also clued me on most anti-nausea teas: don’t use honey to sweeten it. Nothing dangerous, just the makeup of honey (and the smell) can trigger morning sickness symptoms. Instead, she used natural agave nectar.

Thanks for the tip and suggestion! Something else to try…I never did have that cup of pregnancy tea, but my nausea has abated somewhat. It is still unpredictable though.
