Fashionable diaper bags, what do they mean to you? Here are some things that I look for in a fashionable diaper bag: appealing to the eye, versatile, pockets, pockets, pockets….did I say pockets? I also like having an adjustable strap. Guess what? Timi & Leslie has now won my vote for the most fabulous diaper bag. Yes, I liked their 2-1 Backpack diaper bag, but the NEW convertible diaper bag is just as nice, if not better.
New styles include: DAWN, RACHEL, ANNETTE and MANDY. I received the timi & leslie Dawn Convertible Diaper Bag, Taupe (retails for approx. $139). It is a little darker than this photo shows and I could not take any that gave a better view of the bag than they already have.
Here is what the new convertible diaper bag collection boasts:
~ Six interior pockets for easy organizing (including pockets large enough to hold a stainless steel water bottle – adult size)
~ Detachable/Adjustable Shoulder Strap
~ Handy key fob- never lose keys again!
~ Pouchette for Mom’s essentials – with credit card slots and zipper pocket
~ Change mat with diapers/wipes pocket
~ Stroller straps
~ Insulated bottle holder with clip-on handle (I did not have need of this, unless I was to get a bottle of juice or water.)
I really like all the pockets to keep things organized. I like that it is made out of sturdy faux leather (PVC free) that is also water resistant. My favorite part is that it can easily convert to a regular handbag or brief case. While it is too small to fit my 17″ laptop, it would fit a smaller sized one no problem. Just know that it does not provide much padding for protection if you were to drop it, but for short trips it would serve you well.
Last weekend, I took my bag to an organic farming conference that my two daughters and I attended. It served more as my purse than a diaper bag, although I did carry baby’s Wild Animal Safari cards, rattle and books in it to entertain baby with during the workshops. I even used the bottle pockets for my dietary supplements (which includes my prenatal vitamins, probiotics, barley green powder and fish oil capsules right now 😉 )
Timi & Leslie’s convertible diaper bag gets a two thumbs up from me for this new roomy convertible diaper bag.
