Spring is here and with it means lots of play outside, hopefully. At my house it also means more cuts and bruises. Even during the winter we seemed to have lots of little accidents that required owies to be bandaged. We go through a lot of bandages. I think there is something psychological about putting a bandage on the smallest of cuts. It makes the children feel better, probably because they feel like they have been taken care of and healing has began.

Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products are a great value. Now that we have a Walgreens right around the corner from us, they offer convenience to the extreme. Truly. We purchase Walgreens brand pads, birthing supplies, milk, pull-ups and more from them. We can save money by buying Walgreens on sale. Just last week I purchase pull-ups (yes, we have gone to using these for our bed wetters to save on extra laundry which we already have enough of!) and pads during their buy one get one 50% off sale. It saved me time and money by just being able to go a short distance to the store rather than 10-15 minutes to another store.

Walgreens has a flexible fabric adhesive bandage. They seal and protect on all sides, are sterile and latex free. They have a cushioned non-stick pad, soft flexible fabric that conforms to the body and long lasting adhesive. At least this is what the package tells us. Let’s see what we thought.

My Review
Â
We really liked of flexible fabric adhesive bandages and I don’t think we have ever picked up Walgreens Brand Adhesive Bandage before. They stuck well but came off without pulling the skin, but I am not sure that long lasting is an accurate description for our family because as soon as the bleeding stops my children rip off their bandages! Water made them curl up on the ends but stuck pretty well considering other brands will come off with the smallest amount of moisture. These bandages stretch the way they say they do and the fabric is fairly soft as far as a bandage goes.

Walgreens Brand Adhesive Bandage, one size, package of 30 runs for about $2.99
