My Mini Review
I was excited to learn of Bokoo Carseat Covers. They looked bright and fresh. However, when I received my cover it did not fit my son’s carseat. 🙁 I had missed the fact that they cover Graco, SnugRide or a Britax Marathon. So be sure to check that before you buy! So this will only be a mini review since I could not thoroughly test out the product with a properly installed seat cover.
These are well made seat covers and can be put right over your old one, I believe, because these do not have padding. So if you want to freshen up your old, faded carseat, the Bokoo might just be the thing you are looking for!
I love the many features about the Bokoo and really wished it fit my son’s seat.
The Name Bokoo
Bokoo is the phonetical spelling for the French word “beacoup,†meaning “a lot†and represents all the wonderful features these covers provide.
Gotta love that name! Now onto what Bokoo is all about.
About Bokoo Covers
These great looking, patented-design covers won top honors from iParenting Media Awards and Mom’s Best Awards. Hidden Velcro allows you to easily put on and take off a Bokoo Cover without fussing with car seat buckles, straps or having to remove the seat from the car.
They’re also the first and only car seat cover company to be approved by a car seat manufacturer; Chicco. You can find more about this on its website http://www.chiccousa.com/info/Chicco-FAQ.aspx.
A reason for this tremendous accolade is because Bokoo Covers are specifically designed and tailored to your actual car seat model. Whether you have a Graco SnugRide or a Britax Marathon, Bokoo Covers are a perfect fit.
As if you weren’t sold already, Bokoo Covers contain a special anti-crumb design and waterproof, breathable liner to keep crumbs and liquids from permeating the seat. They’re made from hypoallergenic GreenGuard Certified fabrics that are free of harsh chemicals, fade and stain-resistant as well as from organic fabrics and fleece that you can color customize (choose from 16 choices). They’ll even embroider your kid’s name on the headrest (thread color and font is up to you, of course.)
To top it off, Bokoo Covers made it a priority to crash test its covers to meet the National Highway Traffic Administration safety standards for car seats.
Customizable infant, toddler and big kid car seat covers for 18 different car seat makes and models range from $69-$79 and are available at www.BokooCovers.com. You’ll also find stroller covers ($49), anti-microbial airplane pillow covers ($19) and car seat canopies ($15) available to your liking as well.
