The dress with Cascading Ruffles & Rhinestone Kitty ($38.00 too) is the one my daughter received and it is adorable, but I think it may run a little big as my daughter is about average height her age (5) but I always get her dresses a little big so she has the extra length to grow. It did not quite work with this dress as the next size affects the fit of the dress at the top. To rectify that I simply have her wear a little top beneath it and use the back ties to help tighten the fit of it.
It is made of 100% cotton. It has a very soft, silky feel to it so I know why my daughter likes to wear it – it feels good! She loves the kitty, as her nickname is kitty. Yes, when she was just a wee tot she would snatch my bookmark out of my book just like a kitty would a toy. She would also lay outside the bathroom door wiggling her little fingers beneath the door and ask me if I could see her fingers. That is how she got her nickname kitty. Ever since she has liked “kitties” too.
We actually have not even washed the dress yet to see how it washes up, but my daughter loves wearing it, even when she’s not suppose to! And yes, we have “good” clothes, “play” clothes, and even “farm” clothes. I miss the simple days of “nice” clothes and “play” clothes. Can you guess which category this dress falls under? Let’s just say my daughter “play” and my “play” are two different things! 😉
