We were privileged to review 3M Safety Goggles. We received 2 pair “ForceFlex†and “Fuelâ€
The First we reviewed were the FUEL X2P ~ Safety Eyewear
- Grooved design with dual molded temples and rubber tips for superior comfort and fit.
- Polarized lenses with anti scratch coating for optical clarity.
- Meets ANSI Z87.1 – 2003 safety standards.
- Includes bag and lanyard.
Our Review: These glasses worked great for protecting eyes during use of heavy machinery and household tools. We liked the Anti Scratch coating and adjustable nosepiece. It also had impact resistant lenses…that work well if something is flying at you while you are working! The only thing we could do without was the grooved temple design… personally a sleeker design would have been nicer, but the grooved design is okay. One up side to the safety goggles is that since they are modern and tinted they can double as sunglasses…no one would ever know they were protective eyewear!
The Second Pair reviewed were 3M TEKK Protection ForceFlex ~ Safety Eyewear
- Flexible, resilient frames for a customizable fit.
- Soft rubber accents for all-day comfort.
- Multi-injection technology fuses lens to frame.
- Meets ANSI Z87.1-2003 standards
- 99.9% UV protection.
- Includes bag and lanyard.
Our Review: These glasses were just a great as the first pair! We liked these better because they were of a sleeker design than the other pair. The UV protection is also great! I must say that this pair could also double as a pair of sunglasses as well!
Overall the products were great! However, I must confess that while doing this review I read the packaging (I only saved the paper insert and recycled the plastic) I read that it included a bad and lanyard. Well, I did not see a bag and lanyard so I went to dig through my recycle bin and yep there it was underneath the plastic packaging…it was hiding under a white piece of packing paper. I missed the accessory in EACH package. I guess if I knew it included this before hand I would have looked for it more thoroughly but in fact I only thought the glasses were in the packaging…so if you intend to buy a pair of these glasses…Don’t miss out on the spiffy accessories!!!
