What does Birds Eye vegetables and iCarly have in common? While despite the former being considered icky by most children and the latter being considered almost as great as ice-cream- they share one thing in common.
They both want kids to eat their vegetables and they created a iCarly iCook with Birds Eye initiative that is sure to get even the most picky eaters gobbling up over sixteen thousand out of this world recipe ideas.
We love that Birds Eye didn’t sit around a table talking to a bunch of adults about how to get children of all ages to start eating vegetables.  No. They went straight to the fans of iCarly and asked them what vegetable inspired recipes that they wanted to eat. And the result? Success.
Jennette McCurdy, star of Nickelodeon’s iCarly and Birds Eye’s veggie-loving ambassador led the initiative. “The awesome thing about the Birds Eye campaign is that it‘s all about kids talking to kids to get each other excited about veggies,†said McCurdy. “Veggies have always been cool, but now there’s proof!â€
