Out of Print Clothing Review

Out of print clothing is a unique company … providing quality clothing for everyone!

I found that the best description of the company is best said in their own words… here is a description of their “mission”

Out of Print celebrates the world’s great stories through fashion. Our products feature iconic and often out of print book covers. Some are classics, some are just curious enough to make great t-shirts, but all are striking works of art.

We work closely with artists, authors and publishers to license the content that ends up in our collections. Each product is treated to feel soft and worn like a well-read book.

In addition to spreading the joy of reading through our tees and accessories, we acknowledge that many parts of the world don’t have access to books at all. We are working to change that. For each product sold, one book is donated to a community in need through our partner Books For Africa.

How we read is changing as we move further into the digital age. It’s unclear what the role of the book cover will be in this new era, but we feel it’s more important than ever to reflect on our own individual experiences with great literary art before it’s forever changed.

Out of print clothing not only offers clothing but accessories as well. They have a nice array of tote bags, book jackets, note cards, etc.

Our Review:

Let me first start off by saying … I LOVE this site! I am a book hoarder …so seeing this site with clothing showcasing my favorite books was delightful! I am in love with the graphics on the shirts and the variety of choices!

We chose to review a child’s tee- shirt. We choose our beloved character Olivia…which is a favorite book in our household.

 

My daughter is in a size 5 clothing so I opted for the size 6/7 tee shirt. It fit quite nicely. Since I bought a size up from her usual size it was long…but as you can see from the photograph it still fit well.

The quality of the tee shirts are wonderful. The material is soft and not scratchy. This was a plus since my children often complain that their clothing is stiff or scratchy. This tee shirt is neither. It is very soft and cuddly. I was impressed with the quality of the graphics on the front. The colors are vibrant and looks like it will wash well.

Overall, I am very impressed with the assortment of tee shirts from Out of Print Clothing and the quality. My daughter could not wait to wear her Olivia tee shirt and would not take it off, so I let her wear it to bed … and that says so much to me as a mom, cuddly and soft enough to wear to bed!
