We were privileged to review a music CD by a musician that was new to our family.

This CD was released April of 2011…it is a remastered version of her debut album which reached # 2 on Billboard’s New Artist Chart.
Our Review:
I must admit that I did not know what to expect from this CD or artist…since I had not heard of her before. I am an avid lover of most music so I was not hesitant about picking up the CD to play, especially since it advocated “wholesome†music. This was a treat to listen to…I would put it into the category of easy listening. The music is soft and melodic with an easy feel. The lyrics are nice and soothing to the ear.
Kina Grannis has a unique voice; it is very nice to hear her tonal quality. Her music is very relaxing and upbeat. I must say that there is not a song that I disliked…it all was pleasing. I do not really have a favorite song…they are all great! If I had to equate her to another Artist I would say she is reminiscent to Taylor Swift…although Kina’s songs are more soothing and less “pop†than Taylor Swifts.
All in all a great CD for music lovers!
