I (well, rather my daughters) got a chance to read this book and they loved it! My high school age daughter said that even though this book is meant for girls in grades 3-8, she really enjoyed it as well! She loved the cute illustrations and said that the book was a very easy read.
My daughters thought that all the characters where very lovable and my daughter wishes that she had a guy friend like Charlie. (Emma’s best guy friend) My teenage daughter also wishes that there was a real Allegra Biscotti. (she say’s that she would snatch up her clothing line if she was real!)
All in all my daughters really enjoyed this book and think that’s it’s the perfect book for girls! They cannot wait to read the third book in the series. (they also want to read the first book)
