Most of you have probably heard by now that Sandra Bullock is the new celebrity mom in Hollywood. I have been following her heartbreaking story, as well as the news breaking story of her adoption, but didn’t think about blogging about it until after the initial news broke. However, with Mother’s Day coming up, as well as People Magazine’s new issue, it seemed appropriate and blog worthy to still mention. Her celebrity bambino, Louis, is darling, see him below. People Magazine has the exclusive on her new bundle of joy, who was a well kept secret for three months. Can you believe she managed to keep the adoption of Louis a secret for that long? Simply amazing considering the paprazzi who are usually on the heels of most celebrities.
Sandra Bullock is no stranger to being a celebrity mom, as she does have three stepchildren whom she cares for deeply according to the articles I have read. Love this quote from her Oscar speech:
“I would like to thank what this film is about for me,” Bullock said while collecting the award at the March 7 ceremony, “the moms that take care of the babies and the children no matter where they come from. Those moms and parents never get thanked.”
Initially everyone would think she was referring to the message and role she played in her new movie, The Blind Side. However, did she mean it in a more personal way than was first thought?
It is interesting to see the parallels between Sandra’s movie character in The Blind Side, as Mrs. Tuohy adopted a black son and now Sandra has adopted a black son. No matter what else is happening in Sandra’s personal life, Mother’s Day 2010 is sure to be special regardless. Wishing her a wonderful first Mother’s Day with her little celebrity bambino!
